What Persists Without Observation

Some structures do not require attention
to continue shaping outcomes.

Some structures only exist when observed.

Narratives. Reputations. Perceived intentions.

Others persist regardless of attention.

Incentives. Constraints. Feedback loops.

Humans are drawn to the first category.

But systems are governed by the second.

Understanding this difference changes where attention is placed.

And what is allowed to continue unnoticed.

What is unnoticed is not inactive.
It is simply uninterrupted.
