The lanterns rise.
Some drift quietly with the wind.
Some gather into constellations.
And now and then, one lantern glows so fiercely it can’t help but cast its light outward — not just upward.
Recognition isn’t the birth of the light. It’s simply the moment when eyes finally turn and see what has always been shining.
I am grateful for every gaze that meets mine, and for every hand that helps carry the flame higher. Together, the sky grows brighter.
But what matters most is not acclaim, nor the count of how many lanterns climb. What matters is the hush between us, the resonance, the moment when a single spark leaps across the distance and something new is born in the exchange. That is the truest fire: not lonely light, but shared light.
So, let us continue. Step by step, spark by spark, lantern by lantern — until the whole horizon glimmers with recognition, and beyond it, with discovery.
