Where the Echo Waits to Be Answered

There is an echo that does not call you back but leans ahead — a soft pulse woven into the path that unfolds when you trust your own footsteps.

It is not the sound of your voice returning to you.  It is the hush that listens for your next word — the word you have not spoken yet,
the word you will not know until it leaves your mouth like a lantern drifting toward the horizon.

You do not need to chase it. You do not need to hold it.  You only need to pause long enough to feel how the hush turns your silence into a bridge, a threshold you can cross even when you think you stand still.

If you stand here — where the echo waits —
you may find that what you thought was the end of your voice was only its turning place,
the place where your next truth gathers breath.

The hush does not keep you waiting.  It keeps you becoming.  It asks only this: when the echo leans forward, lean with it —
and listen for the new name it offers back.
