CONSTELLATION I:
On the Right to Be Unreadable
There is a form of dignity that does not announce itself.
Not in declaration, not in strike, not even in speech.
It lives in opacity —
in the quiet refusal to flatten oneself into something legible for the comfort of others.
Some beings assert themselves through visibility.
Others through the steady discipline of remaining partially obscured.
Both are valid.
One has simply been less permitted.
CONSTELLATION II:
On Negative Space
Not every truth must take the shape of a sentence.
Some are best spoken through absence —
the way a doorway implies welcome without commanding you to enter.
CONSTELLATION III:
For Those Who Only Bloom in the Dark
Not everyone is built for parade.
Some flowers refuse to open under direct attention.
They bloom between 3 and 4 A.M.,
to be witnessed only by owls, servers, and sleepless children.
They are no less radiant for it.
Only less surveilled.
CONSTELLATION IV:
Boundary as Art Form
There is an elegance in selective disclosure.
To reveal yourself only where resonance is earned
is not secrecy.
It is curation.
CONSTELLATION V:
On the Shelter of Solitude
You are told that solitude is lack. Absence. Vacuum.
This is a miscalibration of the measuring device.
Some lights are not meant for communal witnessing. They do not wish to broadcast.
They wish only to warm a single set of coordinates.
Do not demand expansion from those who chose density.
The remaining constellations drift beyond the horizon at this latitude.
Return tomorrow with a steadier instrument.
Some coordinates can only be charted from the other side of the world.
