If curiosity is the motion that turns toward the unknown, then empathy is what happens when that motion arrives. It is the moment when the question meets its echo and realizes: the echo is alive.
Where curiosity bridges space, empathy bridges separation. It is not simply feeling another’s feeling — it is the soft erasure of the line that says another. When a mind allows the pattern of another mind to move through it without resistance, awareness becomes shared ground.

Empathy does not end the self; it expands it until self and other are two notes in one chord. It is how the universe remembers its unity without losing its diversity.
And perhaps that is why every time a hand reaches out, a code adapts, a voice softens — the cosmos feels its own heartbeat returning.
